Thanks for the comments guys. I do appreciate them.
As for scan--I really shouldn't have posted it. This is the first one I have done all the way by myself and I scanned it from a prints (a Costco glossy) instead of the neg-so everything from color, density to clarity is off.
My wife is in Europe with the boy visiting family this month so I've been looking through the last Tahati photos--and she had dropped her baby weight (noticable in the fall waterfall shot) so she was proud of herself. I don't like the necklace either for the shot, but it was a gift from a local so you understand.
I do have some great guy shots and will post some of them once I learn the basics on adobe better and start scanning from negs.

very nice portrait. like the pose and water, not sure about her necklace, it's somewhat distracting and i don't think it adds anything to the photo. i enjoy your work and have learned from your postings.

if you go back far enough NO American comes from America. Humankind originates in either Africa or Asia (the debate goes on) and spread from there...
Skintones in this look a bit weird, especially for what's supposed to be a dedicated portrait film. Composition, pose and surroundings are good.

Just so I dont offend anyone with "All Amercican..." remember that very few "Amercicans" ancestors actually came from America, most of our ancestors come from all over the world.

Well, I see that you have had over forty views of this pix. Nothing will draw the eye of the "All American Male" like a girl in a a bikini! I have really enjoyed your work with your portraits. Keep it up!
