Regading your comments on this photo - I too noticed the point of focus was not on the leaves, but on the stump edge... if it weren't white it might not be so obvious... I lvoe the shot... maybe try a water color effect to it..? just a thought...

The more I look at this, I think the only thing in focus is the edge of the stump. I'm a little disappointed because I really like the composition. This might work okay for a print that is seldom viewed up close. What do others think?

Some real nice texture and color here man. You have a bit of falloff on the DOF on the left side but other than that, you have a pretty good capture here!
