Hi Arthur...my first thought when I looked at this image was the color...the hair color seemed unnaturl and her neck and the area around her eyes seemed to be a strange color in relation to her face and shoulders. Then I read your about and seen you used a gold reflector.

I personally would have used a white reflector on this model...the gold reflector makes this womans skin look unnatural. Other than that the lighting is good and the pose is fine *Smile*...Maggie

Great shot.. but to make it perfect I would get rid of chair back.. and deal with the lines in her throat.. thats the main killer here.. but I am just being real picky. Hair is a little straggly along edges, but don't know how important that is.

Backlighting adds the perfect touch of glamour, as does the pose and camera position.

This one is up to par, Authur.

First impression is the lovely hair light and the warm color on her face and shoulders. If I hadn't read the caption I would have assumed she was a bridesmaid. It has that informal/at a formal look to it.

One of the things that comes out of my mouth more than any other when I am shooting this kind introspective--yet outgoing shot. Is 'soften', 'soften,' soften.

There's just a little tension in her mouth. It doesn't effect the image--but it does make an experienced reader aware that she knows she's being photographed. The perfect 'far away' look makes us believe there is no one around for miles.

But that's a minor point. This is a lovely image.

Not sure what's in the back of her--it distracts a little.
