I am very impressed by this photograph. First, that you noticed there was a photo there worth taking. Second for the technical excellence--I am ready to believe the slightly blurred focus on the milk bottles is deliberate, to force our eyes to look out, past them, to the distant scene beyond the window. Then there is the physical richness of the image, the texture of the glass and the light reflected within it. The contrast between the black and white wooden lathes and plaster, and finally the contrast between the red and green in that distant scene, with the path running through and linking them all, and drawing our eyes onward and outward. I am not just impressed. I am AWED! I am also grateful that you looked and commented on a photo of mine... This is not "mutal back patting." I really, really love this photo among so many of your beautiful, creative shots and my comment comes from the heart!

Here the dof does not quite "stretch" enough to include the bottles. but I still like the effect of frames within frames.

This is nice but I favor the other scene. I think if the focus were on the bottles it would be a little better. Nice crisp colors. Don.
