This is an early morning shot and they all seem to pick up this blue/purple colour. I believe the mist scatters the blue/violet end of the spectrum more than the red so this is the result.

Scanned on a Mictotek 35T+ film scanner (getting pretty old now !), no modifications to colour balance, only minor adjustment of the "exposure" setting.

I could have put on a 2X converter to get closer - next time !

A really atmoshperic scene with the mist rolling over the trees. I think I would have prefer to see it closer but I don't know if it was possible for you to do that. If, like me, you carry only up to a 300mm lens then this may have been as close as you could get. May I ask...did you scan this using a film scanner or did you scan a print? The reason for my question is that I scan film using a Minolta Scan Dual and it always introduces more Magenta than the original slide displays and that is the feeling I get here, possible more magenta than the orginal? I expect I am wrong after saying that! Would be interested to know though.
