Thanks for your suggestion, Rhonda, but actually, my "Duckey" image is just as it came from the camera. I was in a hurry, it was late, so I just reduced the size for Usefilm specs, and uploaded. I do think your crop offends my sense of the "Golden Mean" a little bit, making the duck (Isn't "duck" generic for either gender?) look like he just barely made the photo!

Hey, great duckey! I love the way you caught him mid-step. Lovely colors. You know I would've cropped him differently to give him some walking room, but that's just me.

Excellent moment! One foot submerged in translucency, another ready to shake off a pearly drop. The little eddies mixing seamlessly into the gentle waves of the pool and overall the green moss in light and shade. But John is (s)he a duck or a drake?
Beautiful subdued light and sunday afternoon mood. regards.

wonderful sharp details.. i had seen many images of ducks posted here, but yours has something that is missing. perhaps it is walking.. and the green mossy stones adds value to the shot..
