Hi Reynaldo, I like the experimentation with colour. The sepia gives it a nice "soft" feel, but the B&W version is just so dramatic. I think I favour the straight B&W shot, the arm seems less blown out in that version (but that could just be my eyes). Still a lovely picture!

Hi, Kim. Thanks for your words. I am still "trying to get the right light" with studio flashes. I overexpose all my works to give this results. I set the flash at his left side , I was using a Plus X 125, I adjusted my flash meter to a ISO 100 (not ISO 125 as it should be), flash meter suggested me aperture 4 and I used it. I have been obeying the flash meter and my picts get underexposed. If overexposed it is easier to adjust the tone when making copies. I am not sure (as I said "I am still trying to get the right light...") but I think I meant an effect like that ""i find it really distracting on his left arm and hand"" . Until I understand the flash meter and domain the light in the studio I think many of my pictures will be so. I also face problems when I use 2 flashes. It seems one kill the other. I have to make some tests with 2 and 3 flashes to understand how to control de aperture. If you have any tip, please dont hesitate in tell me But I will make it better soon. Thanks , Kim

Just curious as to what you used for lighting this? Did you have control over it? I like the hot light on his stomach, but I find it really distracting on his left arm and hand. If you do have control, maybe try moving him away from the light a bit, or diffusing it so it isn't soooo bright. Love the pose and the framing!
