Wonderful detail. That sunflower is so perfect it almost doesn't look real. Very well composed as well; the oblique angle is different from other sunflower shots adding extra interest.

can't believe that I missed this...a super composition but the blue and yellow of nature make this an eye popping image...such detail in that foreground sunflower and so sharp with a perfect dof...beautiful

Bill,

I agree this was worth the turnaround. Nice use of a wide angle lens and very good comp. My only small negitive is the sunflower need to pop a bit more. I looks like the lighting was a bit overcast and that is dulling the flower. If you were shooting film then I would say shoot velvia here. As it stands here its a very nice shot.

Worthy of a turn around. As others have said been done a million times... but not by you! Now you have one and it's wonderful! I too have done a ton of Sunflowers this year and had a blast... I do think my recent ones posted here have finally gotten to the essence of what I was feeling...

Back to the image. I really like the bright color of the foreground flower the smooth quality of light and the DOF is just fine to my eye!

Nice shot,
Great color, and clarity. i just wished the background was a bit more out of focus. Since the sunflowers are yellow the ones in the background are a bit distracting. Good job though.

Excellent photo. I wouldnt worry like some of the others about originality. I doubt there is anything totally unique left to photograph. Beautiful sky, nice composition, a shot Id be very happy with.

Very nice sunflower composition! I like the DOF, carefully set to show the main flower sharply, while blurring the rest, yet still identifiable. Good job! Have you seen my sunflower shot? Just something else to look at.

Love it! Not particularly original, has been done to death, so what, you've created a wonderful image. These flowers, when photographed well, always make me smile.
