Jim, thank you for the nice tip on a photo to make at sunset on 'rue du trésor' in Quebec city. You have a great sense of observation.
For this photo, I like the beauty of the colors that are quite magical.

Jim; I like it-- I like it a lot, and if up for vote, I DO like the yellow much better than blue;>). The 'cubist' effect adds an interesting large texture, and you've blended it well from top to bottom. I think the yellow sky complements the warm colors used in the building. Nice work!

This reminds me of a book illustrator as well. The blend of effects in the sky and the building are very nicely done, and the color choices for the two elements are very nice imho. Can't find much to fault here - maybe the feathered edges aren't ideal... The building reminds me of a lead glass window.

I like this effect very much -- and I DO like yellow, particularly this golden color ... Most of all, I like the patches of blue, green, and brown that are so effectively integrated with the Chrysler outline. Somehow this technique looks like it belongs illustrating a childrens' story. A long way from the original photo but an excellent creation.
