Hi Ursula:

First, thanks for the elaborate comment on "Girl with Stars." It was fun and more than a little illumimating to see how your reaction evolved. I doubt my mother would go for it either.

As for this shot, i wonder if you were truly bored -- or just unsure what to do next with your camera?

Either way, you came up with a fascinating solution. Put two completely unrelated objects together and make a still life!

What makes this image magical for me is that it LOOKS like the product of an expensive fashion shoot. I can just imagine the client, the marketing manager for the sunglass firm, his ad agency account exec and their creative director, along with a stylist and photographer, spending a long afternoon obsessing over this set up -- trying to get the lighting and incense smoke and angle of the glasses all just right. And you did it on a whim! --:) Jim
