Sue, the way to reduce the sun spot or glare is to either purchase or devise some kind of diffuser panel. This is pretty easily done by getting some white rip-stop nylon or other semi-transparent white material and sewing or velcroing around a simple pvc frame. The whole cost for a 30x30 frame is only about $10.00. This will even the light.

Marvelous expression! She rules *your* household, I'd bet! What does the dalmation from your mailbox picture think of her?
I've never done a portrait, indoor OR out. Is there a way to block out the sun spot on the left at her hip? It doesn't seem to fit the rest of the photo.

I do not care too much for cats, but I sure like this picture of one. Very stately looking fellow. Nicely done. Bet he leaves hair all over the place.............
