About I seem to have seen many photos of sunflowers of late but I don't recall any taken from the back. Since I have an abundance this year, I thought I'd throw one in from a different view point. Actually, I'm hoping this is really a Jerusulem Artichoke but I don't know how to tell one from the other.

i LOVE this shot .. such a great perspective!!! the backlighting gave great detail on the stem and leaves.

Thank you Nicolette,

I felt like that too, like the sun rays were pulling the sunflower upwards back into itself. (Did that make sense?) My eyes were also drawn towards the little hairs. The sloping fence didn't seem to matter any more, like it usually would.

Interesting angle. I've got to get used to the fence sloping like that. I really like the sun lighting up the little hairs like that ,though. Looks like the sunflower's acsending to heaven.
