I enjoy your dark-flower photos -- the gardenia's also very nice. Just a little extra contrast might give them even more effect. Then again, it's always hard to evaluate gamma on a computer monitor; would have to see the prints.

Interesting! A little bit too dark for me. Regards, Biliana

This reminds me of a mysterious deep sea creature. Very interesting. It is a shame the digital artifacts are so strong.

I like this shot because it isn't readily apparent what the subject is, until you have a good look at it. All the things I was initially thinking as to the subject were wrong, but still was fun to see.

Nice shot.

I have taken the liberty of fiddling with this capture....

but without any success...

so can only compliment the protographer on her execution!

Wow! Beautiful work. The detail in the shadows on the petals are very interesting. Good job getting the background to go dark. I like how there is some visible leaves in the background so it doesn't look like the flower is just floating.

Image intéressante, plutôt abstraite. Le contraste élevé lui convient très bien. J'ai l'impression cependant que l'image souffre d'un excès de netteté. On y voit quelques artefacts.
