Uwe, I just love your pictures, they're so beautiful, so poetic! I'm going to try a little bit of German (please don't laugh if it's wrong): deine Bilder sind sehr, sehr schoen!
I like the tone of this particular picture, it suits the scene. I like how the picture goes both in a diagonal and straight across. And I love the mood. The only thing I wonder is if a frame that was more colour coordinated to the tones of the picture (rather than stark black) would work a bit better.

Eine "typische deutsche" Landschaft, absolut gekonnt in Szene gesetzt. Der Graben und der Baum führen ins Bild hinein, die Augen wandern vom hinteren Baum weiter zum dunstverhangenen Hintergrund, und so nimmt man die gesamte Landschaft in sich auf. Die grünliche Tönung paßt perfekt!
Allerdings habe ich auch einen Kritikpunkt: den Rahmen. Er ist mir zu dominant und lenkt mich zu sehr vom eigentlichen Bild ab- das ist aber (wie meist) wohl Geschmackssache.
Tolles Bild!!
