Larry, thank you very kindly for all you comments .. you have encouraged me as well - i so remember when and how this image happened .. walking quickly i turned the corner and our eyes met - i didn't look through the camera frame - i just shot it .. our eyes meeting is where the connection is i think .. i remember it so clearly - anyway I truly appreciate you words, my best to you .. js

Wow! John, I love this shot as well! And WOW! I scanned thru your portfolio and you have one of best collections Ive seen! I love all your shots especially the B&Ws!!!

I am always fascinated with B&W and sepia tones! Your photos are so beautiful. I adore every single b&W piece that you have! What I like most especially on those B&W are the way you tone them, it's my kind of photos. Ive always wanted to create such an image but I guess I did not achieve that yet.

You inspired me!!! I'll be checking your photos from time to time to see your latest and be amazed!

Keep Shootin' From The Heart,
LarryM.P.

Your image works so well throughout the whole frame. A composition that feels natural and immediate. Good story...and there is something about that man crossing the street that gets my attention.
Excellent use of wide angle

Her shoulders link the chair and the truck, the lines on the ground converge perfectly to the woman and, at the same time, embrace the background. It's an amazing composition, complex, subtle, elegant. The light is matchless, the moment unrepeatable. A true masterpiece!

An interresting contrast you've captured here, John! Comp and light is delicate!

yep, one of your best recently. People coming, going, triangles, incredible compositional moment, not to mention the look on her face. I feel like noone else in the frame is paying attention to life except you and her. Lovely.

To be happy is the goal, not really what we have, what we can do, or how we look. This is one of the few great images.

Certainly was the decisive moment, the composition came together beautifully when you pressed the shutter.I love all those triangles and the interplay of the black and white elements.Great work, regards Tony.

I don't know how you do this John -- amazing to me that you get such beautifully balanced frames working as quickly as you do.

She's wonderful -- look at that face! I really like, also, all the curves of the sidewalk, the dead-centerednes of the women, and the truck. It's all working together, like a good symphony.

Another beauty . . .
