Jonathan, to simplify things for you a lot (not), I liked the last title. Things shouldn't always make sense grammatically speaking. I like the sound of the work 'mitigate', isn't that a good starting point? :)

Still a fantastic (mitigating) picture!

Ok. I changed the title. Does that mean you understand everything now?

Lois and Melanie- good intentions can't become milder? Do you think maybe you are getting a little too hung up on the title? I don't understand why people always have to "get it".

i don't get it, doesn't mitigate mean to make milder? it doesn't make sense

Jon this image is wonderful, I love your use of background. I love the fact that at times it is the foreground and the conflict that it causes. The little girl is beautiful in her striped bathing suit. I love how the stripes are used to balance what would otherwise be a dark bottom half of the image. The colors you choose are also wonderful.
This image will go perfect in my favorite along with your other masterpieces.

Thanks for being my friend,
deb
