I believe you are at your best when your subjects are whimsical or could be characters in a book (such as a Swan and A Man). How are you my friend?

Hi, I love your portfolio. You really know how to connect and capture the character and spontaneity of your subjects. AWESOME!

You have a wonderful portfolio of people shots, I can sense your comfort at snapping people which is something that is very unnerving for many to do, or at least do well. I LOVE this image, definitely offbeat. It represents a typical summer carefree goofing around day. Love your brother's look. It says go ahead and take my picture but I am going to act silly so there. Here is the info you asked about -- the book is titled "Making Digital Negatives for Contact Printing" and more info can be found at http://www.danburkholder.com/ (if you order the book from Amazon it takes a little longer to arrive but shipping is free). It's very intriguing.
There's a great interview of him at http://www.dpandi.com/dan/dan.html
