About	Taken at Cannon Beach, OR. The orange effect came by accident. There was no filter. I found that I can get the deep orange/red by making the aperature small but it goes away when the aperature is large. Is this common knowledge? or is this just a artifact of using a digital camera w/small aperature?

I'm not sure why you would get an orange cast with a smaller aperture, but I do think that you've got an amazing image here. The levels of varying orange work well with the deep shadow of the person... and the person's stance is contemplative... a nice change.
