Your patience in awaiting just the right combination of atmospheric and lighting conditions is beginning to yield a remarkable record of the English landscape. Ponder as I might, I can't think of any possible improvements to this scene. The genius of the architects, the craftsman, the gardners -- and finally -- the photographer all come into focus in one brilliant reflection of man's highest impulses. --Jim

Nice capture Chris. I would be hard pressed to pick "your best photograph" because there are so many beautiful images to pick from. But this certainly is a top notch image. A lovely reflection, composed beautifully, and great light and sky. I love the way the edge of the pond curves around to the beautiful building. Nice colors.

Yes, I think this IS the crowning member of the series. I don't miss the plaque, and it is nice to see the beautiful reflection in all its glory, better than the landscape shot of the same scene. Unusual sky, too, I notice. Straight into "favourites."

Chris; this certainly is a good candidate for anyone's "Best Photograph". As I looked at this intently, it dawned on me just how dynamic this composition is-- either one large strong triangle or split in the middle as a pair of right triangles. The composition says strongly dynamic and the subject, colors and detail say peace, calm, and serenity. Every thing is so natural looking with excellent sky. This approaches perfection and is going in my favorites. (I might be tempted to clone out some of the more distracting "bright stuff" in the water though?). Congratulations, and Cheers. Craig
