Wonderful shot, Becky! I love that you have included such a strong foreground, with the great 'scalloping' of the sand under the water. You've definitely captured and amazing sense of grandeur, here!

There are such great lines in this image... it stands out for that reason alone. Since the water was so shallow the ploarising filter really maximized the look of the sand. I wouldn't bother with the haze in the bg either... it just adds more depth.

This is a really lovely shot, and I don't think you should make excuses for the haze in the background - I think it just adds to the picture. The details in the foreground of the water is intriguing.
