The effect of having the tree dead centre is quite interesting; it creates an imbalance in an otherwise very calm and restful composition, but I think it works quite well. The lone tree seems to be trying to escape...

The colours are amazing here, and so is the softness you achieved.
One suggestion I have would be to try this again with the tree not in the middle of the shot. It really pulls my eye dead centre and holds it there. The curve of the trees along the left are wonderful, though, and so if possible to move so that the middle tree is off to one side this would be spectacular.
