Love the angle on this shot. Regarding the difference in face between digital/slide: I often have trouble pulling out all the shadow detail when scanning my slides. Perhaps you should try having this one drum scanned?
Any way, great work!

eric, on the slide his face isn't that dark. i need to play around some more with contrast masking in photoshop. as far as fill flash, yes i could use a flash if my camera housing supported it but it doesn't. i'm thinking of trying to have another one made though.
