About Still off my first roll of Velvia... and I think this will be the last of the sunflower uploads until next year, so everyone can breathe easy! *grin*
I wanted to create an image that filled the whole frame and was interesting... sunflowers peeking out from behind others. Is it just another flower shot? Or is it interesting?

Here is a suggested crop from Artie.... I think I prefer the crop better... wondering about the rest of you:

Kim,

I agree with Russ Cooper, Hang this picture!!! As winter comes closer and closer, I can rely on being able to go back and look at your flowers again and again. You have some fine work here Kim, so keep it up.
Later my friend,

Russ

Thanks for the flattering comments Russ and William!
Russ... this is a full frame image... no cropping from the original... I see where you're looking, and I'll have to keep that in mind for next time. Thanks!

Great shot! I have always been fasinated with the textures and shapes of flowers and fauna, hope I shoot like that someday.

My test for "interesting" is whether or not I could imagine a picture blown up real big and hanging in a store somewhere for sale. This one definietly passes the test! That said, I wonder if it was cropped from a slightly larger image? It bothers me a little bit that the middle part of the lower flower is cut off.
