About	This was taken at around 3am, looking out from a hotel balcony on Brighton Beach. I turned the picture sideways and like the effect better than the original landscape layout. Alhtough there may be too much negative space, I think the equal areas balance out the photo more and provide a strong contrast between the solid black of the night sky and the busy crazy colours of the traffic.

youbs, i love this picture! i love the colours compared to the pitch black space. maybe u should crop it so that both the left and right sides are exactly equal in width.
