sandy, the tight cropping, unsharp image and the isolated face against the dark b/g make this an outstanding portrait. very strong b/w work. congratulations!
kind regards

This is my favourite of this series. Very moody & leaves you feeling like you were lost in a black hole falling. It is great to read your comments with these as it shows how well you have put your emotions into your art. Thanks for sharing this.

I've put on a photo of the London Eye so you can see pretty easily how I made the atoms at play. Anyway...have a great day.

Also nice, like the last one. Here I can say more 'dramatic' and with stronger 'spooky' mood because it gives me an idea from the...... scream! :) little bit before the end!

It's so very gothic, and like someone singing in the night. Powerful work.

What's this... a specie from outerspace... :-0)

FYI mine is a clear night shot... of unloading a few flagpoles that I happened to order from Finland... from a bulk carrier in the St.Lawrence River...

Sandy
first off you are an amazing person..to express your emotions and heart through your photos is a phenomonal gift. The picture looks almost as if the girl is surrendering to her pain...her eyes and mouth are wide open but no one can see or hear her...she's stuck behind the glass that showers have where you can only see the outline of the image...thats how I see it...you only see part of her and when you try to look a little closer the lines get fuzzed again because her agony is a burden she can't share...maybe i am reading *in* too much...it just sort of stirs my soul...
thank you
jenni

watching at thumbnail alone I too was confused among ectstasy or pain expression but the shot itself is clear in normal form and I believe it is pain or terror but always great
no more confusione than reading your answers to commenter :(

A shot with strong emotion. Whatever you did to the eyes works quite well; it gives them an eerie look that is very apropos here. Good amount of graininess and superb light/darkness ratio. Warm regards..:)

great one Sandy - especially with the words behind it - losing your parents is a nightmarish period in life...

thank you everyone..
:)

i suppose it is about hurting so bad you can not breathe...
the pain is hidden in the shadowy parts of my brain..
i am sure she will visit again..
but that is ok...if it were not for her, i would never truly appreciate happiness..
