Hi Jaap, I like the whole series of the luna parc, it is very beautiful, colorful, and appealing, but I miss some movement in it. As Charlie mentioned above, a longer exposure (shutter speed) would add alot of dynamism. Especially when the motion blur is combined with sharp static objects. For instance in this picture, the octopus that is turning, and is well lit, will leave alot of nice light streaks. This, combined with the static parts of the attraction, which are equally well lit, and are clear and sharp. In the picture here, it is a not the one, nor the other, not enough blur to give the sense of motion, and not sharp enough either.

Hello Jaap, ik vind je hele kermis reeks heel mooi, kleurrijk en aantrekkelijk, maar ik mis er wat beweging in. Zoals Charlie hiervoor al zei, een langere belichting (sluitertijd) zou hier veel meer dynamiek in brengen. Zeker wanneer je dan de bewegingsonscherpte, die dan ook ver overdreven wordt, combineert met scherpte van de niet bewegende voorwerpen. Bijvoorbeeld in deze foto de octopus die felverlicht voorbijdraait, en hele lichtstrepen achterlaat, en dan de vaste delen van de attractie, die ook mooi verlicht zijn, maar die scherp op de foto komen. Bij deze foto vind ik het een beetje spijtig dat je noch het een, noch het ander hebt. De foto is onscherp, maar niet genoeg om dat gevoel van beweging weer te geven.
Ik ga dit geheel nog eens in het Engels (proberen te) typen, dat onze anderstalige sitegenoten ook weten waar het over gaat ;-)

jaap, this definitely looks as unreal as the whole luna park, roller coaster business is. i can hear the noise they are producing nowadays. like a disco in motion. i had taken a little longer exposure time for more visible movement though.
