Dan, Naw, that tunnel effect was done in photoshop, I know it?s cheating but hey, I wanted to age the photo a little and make it kind of look like it was done with a holga. I?ve got a better one I did after I posted this but I?m done with toy camera project for now. here?s what the org. picture looks like.

Hey Mike, Thanks for the comments on the fossil picture! I've studied fossils for years and have been trying to hone my macro skills but simply haven't been impressed with how my pictures have been turning out? Maybe I'm being too critical? Anyway, I liked this photo of yours mostly because I was out in Montana a couple weeks ago near a coal mine trying to get some good railroad photos. I went out a few different times to get different lighting, but the results still were not striking me. Anyway, I hadn't even thought about going B&W and will have to try that as I like the effect that its given on your photo here. I have a Nikon 5700 and am assuming you got the tunnel effect with an extension lens? Take care, Dan

Mike.. This is a VERY cool toy camera shot. I really like the sepia toning you used. Personally, I really like it just the way you have it. It has such an eerie feeling to it... without the sepia toning you used, that eerie feeling seems to fade away to me.

Thank you for all the comments here, yes I guess I didn?t actually use a ?toy? camera but I tried to achieve the same effect in photoshop as if I had. In hindsight, I should have gone black and white instead of sepia or just messed around with the levels, and the shot itself is too "level", so I?m going to try to tackle this project again in the future. Maybe something more like this...

I like this! Love the tones in this image. Great composition, it's great how the tracks seem to fade out of the image. Makes me want to follow them to see what's beyond this horizon. Great work!
