your macros make me happy; I do not know all reasons, why
...
but partly, because their beauty reconciles us (or could do it, at least) with the uglyness, industrialization carries with itself as a permanent onslaught on nature, man and the very spirit of the place
(the worst to be felt in japan itself: a country of unequaled (and consciously cultivated) beauty before industrialization)
