I think you made a great move (I hope you didn't freeze in the water!), because the orange/pink still water in the foreground is my favourite part of the photograph. It nicely offsets a potentially overwhelming sky. It would be nice to see a little more definition in the three center trees, but the exposure on the rocks is perfect.
