I like the way this was shot (the lighting, the choice of b&w, etc.) The only thing that I keep thinking though (and maybe you were going for this) is that the distance between them (not just physical) seems large. I can't say why. It's not their expressions; I think it's just the wide blank space between them. Or maybe that's just me.
