About The details of the arch I showed in one of my previous photos.
Unfortunately I don't know what the glowing red banner is. All I know is that At Forte Belvedere there is a modern exhibition,so I guess it is part of it.

I feel I must explain why I have left the banner, although annoying. Forte Belvedere in Florence is one of our most beautiful historical buildings which now houses several exhibitions. The banner belongs to the modern art exhibition now showing there,so it is part of the scene. If you are interested,in my portfolio you can see a picture of the whole rear façade with a sculpture in the foreground and the red glowing banner over the arch. Normally it would be without. By cropping it,I thought I would have modified "the feel" of this present art exhibition and showed only a beautiful view of a non-specified building.

bellissima!

querida antonella,
i am hesitating how to go on. but here we go, i see two ways to improve this
(1) cut off everything above the arch and only show the great perspective and outlook against the classical arch or
(2) make it a contradictory show by including the full advertisements/lighting in top of the arch to show the ill mannered dealings with classical buildings (if the wording/advertisement is bland enough for it!). but in general very well seen, great sharpness and exposure.
gracie tanto for your enthusiasm about 'fleeting time'. it seems a little too far out for most of our friends though.
besos

Ciao

I really like this one. The red neon must be modern art. (?) The red letters don't do much for your photograph, though... I tend to agree with those who say it's better without them. Now if they read "Abandon hope all ye who enter here..." that would be different. {g}

Ciao !
Tommaso.
