Hi Bryan...i remember this spot when we traveled in this area. Not sure if its lack of DOF or just the haze created by low clouds around those distant mountains.

What i think would improve this shot would be to crop some of the sky off the top and make it more of a panoramic. This would draw your eye into those moutains and let you travel into the image rather than up and out of it. Just mho...*smile*...Maggie

Hi Bryan. Welcome to Usefilm. I get a sense of the overwhelming size of this landscape from your picture. I liked the composition and the interesting cloud formations stopped the sky from occupying too much space in this picture.

Could I nitpick? Well I woudn't be me if I didn't. 8> I found I wanted two things to make this an outstanding shot in the National Geographic ilk. The depth of field is shallow and I wanted to see the distant mountains sharply. The colour of the sky may have been lifted with a polarising filter. Nice work! I hope to see more.
