Stuart, I had a look at your portfolio and you have many striking photos with unique camera angles. My comment was based my own preference for more conventional framing. Your initial posting seems to suit your style.
I was thinking in terms of having the columns centered in the frame. Somewhat like I have included, but I think it would require the photo to be taken from a more centered location for the symmetry that I was thinking about. Cheers!
Tom - Thanks for your constructive comments. Is this what you mean about symmetrical framing? I kinda admit I like the sky in the original and wanted to include more of it.
Hugo - Thanks for your comments - also very constructive. I did use a polarizing filter already on this .. considering the light at the time, it was all I could do to get this amount of color depth. Cheers.
Stuart, I like the sun on the right tower and the snow on the left one. Very good contrast, and excellent perspective! Maybe a polariser would have increased the colourdepth a bit. Well done!
