Simply INCREDIBLE. I'm always out sunset chasing and rarely see anything this spectacular. They are far and few between. This Sawhill area looks like the perfect place to unwind and get your mind back on track. Thanks for sharing with us these wonderful images from this gem of a spot.

I love the perspective and the depth of this pic.Btw,I always thought that a little imperfection in the reflection adds to the interest,so I don't really mind the debris.

with the drought here, the water levels everywhere have dropped and the ponds and reservoires have become stagnant - some of the reservoirs are as much as 25% of capacity so the algae and plants have multiplied. Where I was sitting last night would be 2 feet nderwater a year ago. It is sad indeed. This image records the effects of the drought as much as anything.

Hi Greg! A wonderful sunset! That would de-stress anyone to be able to look at that! I love the leading lines, and the colors with the dark silhouetes. Perfect reflection. What a wonderful site this must have been. Very nice!

I think I need to come to Colorado! Look at these colours! In a lot of your pictures from Sawhill with the water there seems to be a lot of derbris floating on top.... are there any close by ponds / lakes with a smooth surface? Just might be nice for a clear reflection.
Still, a wonderful image.

Lovely colours Greg.
The cloud formation really draws the eye into the scene.
(By the way, you got your aperture and shutter amounts the wrong way round)
