No tripod used as the tank was well lighted. The designers of the aquarium took photography into account when they designed most of the exhibits by limiting external light sources to control reflections and this helps. I also went early in the morning before all the children smudged up the glass.
I would love to do some underwater photography, but our lakes are far too murky.

Cool! I have friend with a salt water fish tank that I want to try takin pics of. did you use a tripod? this shot looks great, nice color only thing that would make it better is to blur background some so the fish stands out better.

Nice capture, with great lines and color. It would have been nice if the background had been a little more out of focus. But still very good shot.
