Fabio, I am glad this discussion is continuing because I missed your last remark. The judges comment refers to the Ehud's Dagger image... :)

Regarding tubal-cain...it is interestint to me if you look at tubal-cain in a bibilical perspective the sort of strange implications of that segment - cain was cursed and the curse carried on through his generations (think of Lamech) and yet - his line is the one that developed all the arts and basics of civilization:

19 And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
20 And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
21 And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah. (Genesis 4)

- an interesting side-effect of being cursed...Yet the O.T. is filled with bizzare blessings to those who are cursed...for that matter - you read the geneology of Jesus you have whores, philanderers, people who murder, people who attempt to murder there brother, women who entrap their father-in-laws...it is much more complicated than one would imagine...

The saintly ones such as Joseph aren't the one's who lead to Jesus - it is the ones who really screw up - such as Judas...I've read arguements that Joseph's only purpose was to maintain the line - which makes one wonder about oddities in history who achieve one moment of brilliant greatness but are losers and failures the rest of the time...

Judges 3 starting at verse fourteen. He was one of God's judges appointed to judge Israel. Judges is a very violent book of the Bible.

Fabio, I'll bet you are awesome at solving visual puzzles. Your ability to find imagery in the unlikeliest of places is unbelievable! You are the King. This is a great photo from a curious and sharp mind. ...Brad

I've heard most associations with snakes are hardly positive but in the case of your 'tree snake' I would have to disagree.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

And perhaps when it was said and done - Eden wasn't barred to us forever, it was petrified and here is the tree and the snake and perhaps one day science will revive the fruit. ;)

and some people's eyes are incredible...
