I've viewed this on a different computer. It does look much more dramatic than what I viewed before. That's one of the downfalls of shared computers in the office!

i do have other versions showing more details of the statue but they are not nearly as impressive as this one. here c. walks away returned form the battlefield straight up into the heaven of poetry.

First play I ever saw!! I absolutely LOVE this story. Again, in my humble opinion, good photography evokes an emotion...good, bad,...doesn't matter. A good photograph gets a reaction, stimulates thought, kindles a memory...You've done exactly that with this photo and the title.
The only thing I would try to add, if it were my photo is less of the silhouette look and more of the detail and features of the statue.
