Great shot,David,seems almost tridimensional,also fantastic landscape! How do I like the Nikon D 100?.....I LOVE IT !!!!! There is no comparison with others I have tried. I also use a Lexar ultra fast compact flash card which writes so quickly you hardly notice that you're shooting with a digital. Another great feature are the lithium batteries which last a lifetime. Although I always have a charged spare one,I never had the need to replace it,despite intensive use of flash when I do sessions with models.
The only limitation,so to speak,is that it doesn't take older lenses without CPU and therefore I'm left with four: a 19/35 Voigtlander Nikon mount,a 28/70 D, a 24/120 and a 70/300 all Nikon which cover the whole range of focals more or less,but regrettably my beautiful manual fixed focals are out of the question ((

David, wonderful to see part of my heritage. My grandfather, when a small child, sailed from Wales to Australia on a sailing ship. I hope to visit Wales myself one of these days.
This is an excellent composition. I love all the little detail on the hillside.
