this is a really nice shot, but in my opinion it looks like it's floating...not that it's bad by any means...I think it needs an anchor....other than that >>exceptional..
Great macro, Greg. You've got the stamen in sharp focus, and your DOF covers the petals as well, revealing their delicate detail. I wish you had submitted it in higher resolution so I could enjoy it even more.
Greg, this is so delicate and life-like it is wonderful. The translucency of the petals are quite evident and the flowing lines of the magenta petals are exquisite.
