Hi Alan. great shot. is shot taken in 300 mm telephoto or more? or u used digital zoom? i have seen most of your work and i think the right camera on the right hand. u have a very good eye and lots of passion to photography. keep up

Alan,
Very good contrast and detail. Very few people photograph the waning moon. Most prefer to photograph a full moon, but that one has the lowest available contrast. That 10D must be one fine camera. I would love to see how you and your 10D perform on a quarter moon. Was this shot handheld, or did you use a tripod?
