Thanks for your reply. I can just tell you, be glad nobody has stolen your images, it really feels like beeing raped. I have had my pictures stolen and missused so many times I hardly can count them anymore. One time, even from a Swedish university that teach in webdesign and media. My picture was at the same page as they written all the copyright laws and sad it's important to follow them, irony, my picture they had stolen at the same page as that text!
Just a couple of days ago me and Elin discovered a girl who had stolen four or five of my images. She has remade one of them and posted it at deviantart.com, under her own copyright and not a word about me. She has posted the other images all around other commynitys, as banners and other commersial to her self. She has her name and logo written all over the images. I got intouch with a community owner that had payed that girl to do the webdesign for the community. She had only used MY images for the design. That sucks! The kind community owner had removed all my images now.
Elin has had many images stolen over the years to, and she takes it even harder than me. Her art is more personal then mine, and she allways dig deep in her own mind and feelings with her photos. I understand why she puts her watermarks at her images (I must say she allso think it sucks with watermarks), and why she gets so upset. I think it's sad it will turn out this way and I hope you and me can still keep intouch.
I will never put up big watermarks on my pictures, I will never let the theifs win! If I put them on my pictures, they have won. I weill beet them, in one way or another! When I get mad, I do anything to win!
