Hello Hugo!

A powerfull portrait... I like the man, I like his cloathing, I like the donky... A pro in my town once said that with portraits I must avoid the darkness on the face!!!
When I look at the image I think you should have turned the man into the sun just a bit more. Now the expresion on his face is not seen...

But it still is a powerfull image with wonderfull colors!
Regards
Andrej

I love this photo! The tones are very good. I noticed a comment about the man's dark face. I don't know
of any way of getting around that without changing the whole picture. We have adopted an African-American
boy and most pictures of him look like dark blobs and the rest of the picture is fine. We haven't gotten
a photoshop program yet. Would that help that problem? The donkey or mule in this photo looks so soft,
I could touch him. Good colors, very rich!
Carolyn P.S. Many thanks about the comment on my Dutch. My husband has to proofread my mistakes first,
though. It's easier for me to read Dutch than to write it!

Excellent composition with beautiful natural colors. IMHO, it deserves a 7/7.
Best regards, Paolo

A wonderfully composed image with gorgous lighting and colour. A little fill flash on the mans face would have lightened it. Perhaps a selective lightening in Photoshop would help.
As a timeless image a sepia version I think would be outstanding.
Regards,
Graham.

Very nice, Hugo. Wonderful earth tones. I like it very much. What country was this?
Thanks for your comments on my balloons in the tree.
Best wishes,
Jimmy

Mooi werk, inderdaad wel jammer van het gezicht van de man. De groote verschijdenheid aan bruine tinten vind ik mooi.
Groeten Tim.

great texture, good light, and I agree with what Gerhard says - and I like the effect - -

Yeah, look at the shadows the sun was high, hot and from behind leaving us in the strange experience of a donkey with a more clearly visible personality than his boss..;)

Mooie foto, alleen had je moeten flitsen.. De foto van m'n dochter (http://www.usefilm.com/image/148227.html) heeft daar ook wat last van, maar minder zon dus minder diepe schaduwen..
