Techincally, it's great, as usual. What I really like is that you've shown the efffect of something that's no longer there. It leaves me with questions, like, "why did the beaver leave it" (oh, my, that really was not intentional). ;-)
The branch right behind the still-attached part could be a little distracting. I'm not sure how I feel about it.
