About This was taken the same night as my previous submission Celestial Beacon. I was on a boardwalk about 3 feet wide. There was no space to move in any direction other than forward unless I wanted to fall into the ocean. It was a fun evening to experiment with a new lens. More of my work can be seen at http://www.artbeacon.com/jmg-galleries/ Thanks for your time and comments.

hi, i think that you achieved what the title conveys...congrats!...there are so many elements that work together well in this shot...for me, it is all about the moon/night clouds and that there is a lighthouse...regards,gayle

Fantastic work!!! The tilted perspective really makes it look as if the moon is pulling at the tower!

Jim, I love the effect created by the lens. It makes the image look like it's from a Tim Burton film. I love the look of the clouds and the reflection of the moon off the water.

Very fitting title for this shot. The lean of the house/lighthouse is what makes the picture for me. It seems that the lean could be made even more pronounced by leveling the horizon. The light in the lighthouse seems a little overexposed, but I don't know how one could get the right exposure on the water and the lighthouse at the same time. It seems like a tough shot and I think you struck the right balance. Just curious, how long was the exposure?

Beautiful work, Jim! I'm guessing you must have had the lens set at 16mm in this shot. I like the activity of the sea, traffic in the distance, and the clouds gently streaking over. All the Best!

Love the "tilted" house... a little bit like being sucked in by the huge moon.
Good you didn't fall into the ocean (hehehe).
Congrats,
Hanna
