Other than the overcast that gives it a gloomy feeling it looks fine. I thought looking at it from a different angle really added some sense of drama to it....

Sometimes we should forget about high tech cameras and look at the masterpieces of the very early 20th century. A very nice shot. Thank you Alex

HEY HEY...I just got my first Holga today...This one is wicked...Love the blur and the famous holga look and feel to this one. I have some pinholes in my portfolio if you care to look... But man o man this is a nice Holga shot. I'm more a fan of Black and white but this one rocks!

Inspiring! I'm expecting my Holga any day now. I love the soft, dreamy look - also seems to be something of a Holga ethic about. :)

very great using of Holga. I am asking when I am watching this photo: "Am I watching someone's dream?" really good work!

Bryce, I'm glad you appreciate the Holga 'look'. The Holga is a Chinese-made plastic toy piece of crap that uses 120 film. The thing has to be taped up to hold it together and control light leaks. There are a couple of controls, but basically you shoot and takes yer chances. The Holga is loved by few, and thoroughly detested by many gear-heads. Suggested retail price - $14.99.

Thanks for the comments. I agree that things could be sharper/more level etc. But then it wouldn't really look like a Holga!

I love the effect you got from your toy :) I do, however, wish the horizon was level ...

Great dreamy effect you've captured with your toy camera. If only the flowers had been a little sharper.

The toy camera really adds an unreal feeling to this image. I like it. Gros Morne National Park offers some of the most spectacular scenery I have ever seen. Unfortunately, the only time I was there, I had an old Pentax K1000 with the film improperly rolled onto the spool; not one picture turned out :-( Fortunate for us you didn't make the same mistake *grin*. I hope you post more from Gros Morne.

I just love your plastic crap lense. What kind of toy camera did you use? The effect is dreamy, unreal, cool!
