About Last week I found this miniature tree on my garden fence. When I saw this photo I didn\'t think it worth a UF submission. However, for the whole week, the little tree shape has caught my eyes every time I walked past the fence. Somehow it felt as if it was begging for some attention and I ended up deciding to share it with you. So here it is,dressed in blue for the occasion. A tribute to everyone who sees beauty everywhere, even in the most insignificant things.

Emgy,

Thanks for the specific comments - wanted to let you know I replied - the chrome is one of those dumb errors I could kick myself for the other issue might be the nature of the balloon - perhaps not... ;)

Emgy - Your abstracts are remarkable, sensitive, and unique. You have the eye of an artist and soul of a creator (not to be placee in competion with the master creator). Thanks so much for your comment on my Fall Birch image. I wish all could see with your sensitivity. Cheers and Regards - Bill

An amazing series of abstracts! I especially love your comment to this picture - "A tribute to everyone who sees beauty everywhere, even in the most insignificant things." Something so many of us fail to do! Thank for your own comments to my pic and thereby directing my attention this way.

I never noticed this one it is amazing what you see you do need a macro... check this page out. I bought the sigma 105 macro and I just saw that is what I took the butterfly with. It is a very sharp lens go read the reviews half the price of the canon but the auto is slower it is best to use M focus on macro anyway. The butterfly was a good distance away whan I took it and about 3-4 inches across. 70-200f4 is incredible lens so sharp and clear and also 17-40...All I can say is get the best you can afford the 28-135 has a macro function...roger

Ciao!

There is an old saying, from little acorns, grow lofty and strong oak trees... in the Netherlands there are now so few still standing, having supplied the timber for the old trading ships of the VOC...
You have created an interesting image, from a week's forethought... and simply wonder how many growth rings appear upon that fence plank?

Don't tell me this is not old paint residues on aluminum (hehehe)! Just your garden fence, I see.

Thanks for posting it. It's most delightful. I love Mother Nature's jokes, but it takes a fine mind like yours to become aware of them and share the humor with others.
Cheers,
Hanna

Buon fine settimana, Luisa

dear emgy,
exactly my line of seeing and proposal to make us see! yes, there are pictures wherever we go, we only need to see, not just look about.
this is not only beautifully captured, it is maravilloso in itself. thank you for passing by often enough to get decided.
thank you also for your beautiful and thoughtful and kind comments on 'silver angel' (i meant what i wrote about dreams!) and 'mother cup' (i admit that i also am tempted to argue about minor flaws when a picture carries general significance. this applies here i believe).
besos
