I too love the vertical format of the panoramic image. I've enjoyed your portfolio very much. I shoot with the Hassy XPAN and love it. You can see some of my work here and on my site as well. www.barclayphoto.com Last years Smoky Mtn stuff has a lot of vertical xpan images. Enjoy. I look foward to more of your pans!
Well, a strange subject, though as a study for the vertical pan format, a very well executed one. I could actually see this as one of those shots on a calendar, the long thin calendars. A pleasing, soothing shot, but one lacking in that 'wow factor'.
It always amazes me that people can take the time to look at a photo, and there must have been something that appealed to them in the first instance, to make them click on the thumbnail, my wonder is this.. how often do we look and not leave a comment and yes, I do this myself, though I try not to. So, having looked at your photo, and honestly not finding it all that appealing, which is an emotive response of mine, noone elses, I can say the colours are pretty *g* and the tripod is well made! I also imagine what the surrounds look like, and so for a photo to make me think, it must be good! What a tirade here, but honest reflections of mine. Thank you
