Very dramatic, has a very barren, cold and lonely quality which you have portrayed perfectly with the monochrome, composition and title. Great job.

Eddie - I like this shot alot. Very textural and a good range of tones. That fence leads to a very cold landscape and those gray clouds add to the feeling, brrrrr. Thanks for viewing and comments on my images. Cheers from Canada - Bill

Hallo Eddie. Good shot this one. The high contrast help a lot this one. Even the snow's texture looks good!

A fellow 'Tyke' ;-)
I love the dry stone walls of the dales and peak, there are so many good angles. You have done a good job here, the pole anchors the structure and the eye follows the wall very easily. It's always difficult to expose correctly for snow, and maybe this has just gone over a tad. Did you use an ND filter to help bring the overall light down ? An upside down ND grad might also have helped even out the exposure range.
Just a thought.
Good work
K
