you really managed to caprture and deliver a strong image. I have to disagree with the last comment, although it does add tension to the image it's a bit too much things in the front.. maybe if you could eleminate the first from the left support you'd maintain a strong tension and make it a more simple image

This reminds me of those journalistic shots found in Life magazine from the 60's. Black and white shots always seem to be able to deliver emotions better than color and this is a great example. Some might think this is cluttered and I believe it adds tension to the image.
