beautiful image
I love the mood...
It is like a fraction of time has stoped around her while
everything goes on in her head.

Very nice digital alterations. I think it works but i'd like to see it all in colour too.

Sandy,

I love your street characters - and I hope you don't mind me saying this but you are getting better, and better, and better at this!! Love it...

Excellent capture - amazing expression. The desaturated background works well here, emphasizes the expression. If you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there!

And that saturation looks very good...

Richard Thornton   {K:26442} 2/21/2004
This is a little startling and a good use of selective color to emphasize the subject.

The desaturation of the background works very well here and adds a lot to the mood,
You captured this lady in a beautiful but sad expression
Excellent work, Sandy!

Hallo my friend! Interesting face....looking little bit sad.... perchaps about his job (like me... xexexe) Very good lighting and COLOUR work at only his face so the support that have this photo at its 'main subject' is very strong.

thanks everyone..
:)
i think at 10 she was much like she is now..curious you mentioned that..that is her character to a tee.. she walks between two blocks..day after day year after year..
always back and forth back and forth back and forth..
and if you are lucky..you get to hear her sweet little voice tell you stories about having company. and how they had the lovliest little dog.

have seen her in my neighborhood 10 years finally photographed her today.

makes me want to know about her life. What did she do, and look like; at ten?

Makes me very sad but excellent capture. That look of confusion is unmistakable isn't it?

will it matter either way?
would it really make that much a difference?
i mean what if i went that way..
and saw the same things i did this way yesterday?
would it matter?
would i even know?
